▸ About the Author
Silas Gossman writes literary post-apocalyptic fiction about memory, signal, and the small acts of devotion that survive the end of the world. Porchlight is his debut novel and the first volume of The Glyph World — a sequence of forty chapters, one boy, one dog, and a world that won't stop listening.
The series began with a single line of dedication: "To my children and all the adventure they'll have together." Every chapter since has been an attempt to leave them a lantern.
